How Long Does A Custom Piece Take?
Most custom pieces take about 1 week for smaller boards depending on size and complexity, and anywhere from 2-8 weeks for bigger projects.
Once we have discussed and processed your request, we will be able to give you a more accurate timeline.
*These timelines are not set deadlines, throughout the process expect changes to the timeline. We will maintain contact with you during the build and make sure you are properly updated as the project continues.
How Does Your Custom Process Work?
Each piece starts with your ideas.
We’ll talk about size, wood type, styles, and how the piece will be used. After gathering an idea of your needs, We will create and send a mockup as a visual reference. Finally, we will then begin building something around your preferences and the material itself.
Because every slab is different, no two pieces ever come out the same.

Can I Choose The Exact Slab?
Whenever possible, yes.
We can send photos of available pieces so you can be part of the selection process. This part of the project is the most enjoyable for us so let us know your preferences and we would love to assist you in picking your perfect piece.
How Should I Care For This Piece?
Our pieces are finished to last a long time, but like any natural material, they benefit from basic care and maintenance.
Avoid excessive water and moisture exposure and let boards fully air dry when wet. Every board expecting food contact has been properly sealed with a natural beeswax-oil mixture to ensure a durable and food safe finish.
Clean and and re-oil your board periodically to maintain a safe and lasting finish.
*We recommend re-applying oil/beeswax as often as 12-24 months under constant daily use.
